A Atlus anunciou que trará o remake de Persona para PSP para os Estados Unidos. Após o sucesso de Persona 3 e 4, a Atlus decidiu trazer Persona para os fãs que estão famintos pela série de RPG. O remake incluirá mais pontos de salvamentodo que o original para Playstation, 3 opções de dificuldade, novas animações e ajustes no balanço. A versão USA trará uma nova tradução de diálogos e história, mecânica de jogo revisada e melhorada e o conteúdo inédito.
Quem sabe outras empresas não vem nos remakes o nicho de mercado para o PSP, pelo menos aqui no Ocidente.
No Japão o jogo está previsto para 29 de Abril de 2009, mas ainda sem previsão para a data de lançamento nos EUA.
