A Atlus finalmente confirmou o lançamento americano de Persona 2: Innocent Sin.
Assim, será a primeira vez que o game terá um lançamento ocidental oficial, pois o game original para PS1 nunca foi lançado no EUA devido a sua forte temática e características polêmicas pra época. Alguns anos depois um grupo de fãs até chegou a traduzir o game para inglês e lançá-lo na internet e mesmo que a Atlus tenha permitido isso, ainda não era um lançamento realmente oficial.
